Watercolor Masking Techniques and Sumi-e Painting classes!

14420, A Different Path Gallery is offering two courses given by Diane Elmslie.
Watercolor Masking Techniques
Diane will teach this 6-week course for both beginners and more advance painters. Learn the watercolor techniques for masking, color mixing, adding watercolor pencils, finishing options and much more! Using photos as reference material, learn to produce clear, crisp, vibrant watercolor paintings.
Wednesdays July 20-Aug. 24 12:30-2:30 Fee $125 (plus materials)
Sumi-e Painting:
Diane will teach this 6-week course for both beginners and more advance painters. Learn the black sumie stick technique for producing effects as seen in ancient Asian paintings. Using photos as reference material, learn to paint misty mountain scenes, blossoms, trees, the moon, and reflections in water.

April 3rd, 2011Sherry has remodeled her studio in the Anderson Arts Building to incorporate a new gallery space.
On exhibit are her latest artworks.
Visit the new gallery - view new art on Saturday April 9th - open 11am to 5pm.
The First Friday of each month the gallery will be open to the public from 5 to 9pm - stop in and see what’s new!

Second Saturday Open Studios Begin This Saturday Sept 11th!
September 10th, 2010This year the Second Saturday Artists of Anderson Alley will begin opening studios to the public on September 11th from 11am to 5pm. 12 studios will be open for the public to visit.
Sherry will have her studio open with her latest artwork on display. Please plan to visit!
